A youthful Hearts side lost by a single goal to Slask Wroclaw in the second game of the German tour. The Jambo's, again captained by Michael Stewart, found it tough against the physical Polish first division team who treated it as if it was a cup final rather than a summer friendly.
Meanwhile, Algerian centre-half Ismael Bouzid has become Csaba Laszlo's fourth signing of the summer. The 25 year old, who has been capped at international level on ten occasions, spent last season at Turkish side Ankaragucu.
