Jim Jefferies is confident that Andrew Driver will make a positive difference to the Scottish national side now that he can play for his adopted country. The change in wording regarding eligibility agreed by FIFA means he can be selected for Scotland efferies was please to see the change go through and expects the 22-year-old to be a valuable addition to the options available to national manager Craig Levein.

The Hearts boss said: "
He had made his mind up that was what he wanted to do and I'm delighted that he'll now be able to go ahead and do that. He has wanted to push in that direction for quite some time now and I know that Craig Levein was keen for him to be involved with Scotland. Hopefully it will be good news for the national side because, not only does he set up goals, he has shown that he can score them as well. To be able to come into an international set-up as a wide player but to provide an added goal threat makes you even more valuable to the side. Last season he had a few injuries – I think I had him for about a game and a half after coming in as manager. But in the full game that he did play for me, against Hibs at Tynecastle, he was outstanding. To play the way that he did that day, having been out for so long, I think that he really showed his class and I am sure that he can do the same for Scotland."
