Where's Wallace?

Hearts were given a boost with the news that Lee Wallace is winning his fight to be fit for the Europa League clash against Dinamo Zagreb. The left back is heading over with the squad, having missed last nights opening game (still don't like to say it was the opening day of the season since it was a Monday night!) of the SPL against Dundee United at Tannadice.

His marauding runs will no doubt give Hearts more options in going forward against the Croatian champions eager to put one over the Tynie outfit after their shock exit to Red Bull Salzburg in the Champions League Qualifier.

Jambo gaffer Csaba Laszlo has confirmed Michael Stewart will keep the captains armband on Thursday night. The newly appointed skipper celebrated becoming the sides voice of authority on the pitch by getting himself sent off! Laszlo has confirmed the matter will be dealt with internally, and although vice captain Zaliukas is set to feature while serving a domestic ban, Stewart will be given the armband against Zagreb.

Fingers crossed Stewart has learned a lesson and can now lead by example and not from the showers during the game!

Dinamo Zagreb striker Dimitrios Papadopolous has ridiculed claims the Scottish side can pull off a shock in the tie. He insists that his side are better than Rangers and Celtic and in turn the Old Firm are better than Hearts. He has also warned Laszlo's side that the Croatians have pinpointed weaknesses in the Tynie side and that they plan to exploit them on Thursday night.

Here's hoping Papdopolous is eating humble pie for breakfast come Friday!
