JJ has agreed a new deal for David Templeton which will see him stay at the club until the summer of 2013. The 21-year-old has scored two goals this season but hopefully will add a few more during his new contract. He said: "I am very happy at Hearts. It is a good club for young players to be at and I'm learning all the time here. It didn't take long to make my decision once the club got in touch and I'm looking forward to spending the next few years of my career at Tynecastle."

Templeton, who joined Hearts from Stenhousemuir in January 2007, is the latest youngster to commit his future to the club. Paul Mulrooney, Conrad Balatoni, Danny Thomson, Michael Deland and John Wood all agreed new deals earlier this season.
