| Hearts manager Jim Jefferies is continuing his search for a new club captain following the departure of Michael Stewart. Vice-captain Marius Zaliukas has already deputised for Stewart but uncertainty over his own future means Jefferies will have to consider all his options. Jefferies said: "We have an idea of the options to consider. Marius is out of contract at the end of December, I believe, so that might have a bearing on it. There are a couple of other players who have caught our eye. We'll look at that at the start [of pre-season] and that's something we'll look at in terms of attitude and who we think might have a chance." |
