europa league logoHearts could meet Croatian side Hajduk Split, Sligo Rovers and Cypriot cup winners Omonia Nicosia in the Europa League thanks to being seeded. The Jambos join the competition in the third qualifying round and results over the weekend, in European leagues still in action, confirmed that Hearts would be among the leading teams joining the competition in that round.

That means they will avoid the likes of Atletico Madrid, Red Star Belgrade and Palermo when the draw is made on 15 July. Games  are scheduled to be played on Thursday 28 July, with the return leg a week later on 4 August.
