George Burley has over looked Michael Stewart in his Scotland squad for the World Cup qualifier against Norway next week. In a bold attempt to get something from a must win game, Burley has decided to go for it by naming…nine defenders and four midfielders.

What Scotland could have done with is like someone with the passion and drive whose played at the highest level and could keep a cool head amongst desperate shoulders. Maybe Burley has it in for Hearts players and won't pick any while he's in charge for Scotland.

Although by selecting nine defenders when we need a bit of creativity at the other end of the park means that his Scotland career might not have much longer to go…
