| Hearts have two players named in Ross Mathie's Under 17 squad which will be travelling to Finland next month in the shape of 'keeper Jack Hamilton and defender Scott Campbell. The pair will join up with the other 16 youngsters selected to take part in the 2010 Open Nordic Tournament with teams from the hosts, Finland, Norway, Sweden, The Faroe Islands, England, Denmark and Iceland. It is important for products of the Hearts Academy to be recognised for the progress they have made and to measure themselves against players from other countries. Academy director John Murray said: "It's a boost for the young lads and it will be a great experience for them. Their call-ups are well deserved and it's something they should build on for the new season". |
