Paulo SergioIt is being reported that ex-Sporting Lisbon manager Paulo Sergio Bento Brito will be unveiled as the new manager at Tynecastle. He has been out of work since February, when he was sacked by Sporting shortly after their Europa League exit at the hands of Rangers. It is expected he will be in time to take training at Riccarton tomorrow. This will be Sergio's seventh managerial post in eight years, having picked up his first job at Olhanense in 2003. He stayed in charge at the club until 2006, upon which he moved to Santa Clara.

He spent some time at Beira-Mar and Pacos Ferreira before he took over at Vitoria Guimaraes in October 2009. His time with the Branquinhos however was also short lived, after being approached in April to take over at Sporting, where he won 11 of his 17 games before being sacked. Sergio's playing career started with Olivais Moscavide in 1986, before spells at Belenenses, Pacos Ferreira, Salgueiros, Vitoria Setubal, Feirense, Santa Clara, French side Grenoble, Estoril and latterly Olhanense, where he retired from playing in 2001.
