Cambpell OgilvieCampbell Ogilvie officially leaves his post as managing director at Tynecastle today but has vowed to return to show his support for the club that has a special place in his heart. Ogilvie will be the full-time vice-president of the SFA with responsibility for the implementation process associated with the recommendations of the McLeish Report. This would leave little time to carry out club duties as he will be primarily based at Hampden but will be travelling the country in his new role.

On his departure, Ogilvie looked back at his time with the club. He said: "
I'd like to thank everyone within the club for an enjoyable four and a half years at Tynecastle. They have been a great help to me in that time and have been a great group of people to work with. The supporters have been great as well and I worked closely with the G10 group and I'd like to wish them every success in the future. There has been some interesting times during my time here but there has been a lot more positives than negatives. Splitting the Old Firm to qualify for Champions league football was obviously a memorable moment in my first year while the Scottish Cup victory in 2006 was another special day. I appreciate the Board giving me the opportunity to come here. I'd like to see the club continue to move forward and it will always have a special place in my hearts. I am moving on the SFA now and I look forward to the challenges ahead. In my new role I have to get around all grades of football but I will certainly make a point of coming back to see a game or two at Tynecastle if at all possible."
