With Gordon Smith resigning from his post as SFA chief executive, there is a vacancy to be filled at Hampden which could attract Campbell Ogilvie. The Hearts Managing Director may be interested in taking on what is said to be the most powerful job in Scottish football. Ogilvie is already well known to the SFA as he is currently a vice-president in the governing body and may be approached to take on the job. SFA President George Peat will take on the executive responsibilities until Smith's replacement is found. Ogilvie has been working at the highest level in Scottish football for a number of years, 27 of them as Rangers general secretary and managing director of Hearts since 2005. |
