Marian Kello: Shoulder Ligaments May Need Operation

The Slovakian has not played since being hurt in the victory over Kilmarnock at Tynecastle on September 12 when he collided with a post making a save to his left-hand side.

Although he managed to finish the game against Killie after treatment, the shoulder has proved slow to recover prompting concerns that an operation might be required.

"The worst case scenario is that I will require an operation but I will try everything I can to avoid that happening,"

"The ligaments have been damaged and I had an injection last week but it is still not okay. The doctor has said that maybe in two weeks I will be okay. I hope so but at the moment the pain is not going away."

Marian is working closely with the club's physiotherapy department in a bid to regain full movement in his shoulder and is hoping he won't have to go under the knife. "I will try to do everything to be fit and get ready," he said. "I am training as much as I can every day and getting treatment and doing everything required for my fitness."
