Former Real Madrid and Barcelona coach Raddy Antic has put his name forward for the vacant managerial position at Hearts, according to Talk 107.

Antic is well respected throughout Spain after managing La Liga's "Big Two" but perhaps his greatest achievement came in the 1995/96 season, when he led Atletico Madrid to the league and cup double.

He has also managed Real Zaragoza, Real Oviedo and Celta Vigo.

He has been out of football for two years but feels the time may be right to return and sees Hearts as the ideal challenge.
