Kyle misses out on air-miles

Kevin Kyle will not be on the plane heading to Italy on Saturday for the pre-season trip to Italy. He has overdone his comeback from surgery on an abductor muscle injury.  He reported some inflammation and has had to be given an injection by the surgeon who carried out the summer operation. This required him to rest for a week and therefore he will miss out on some summer sun as the squad flies out to Il Ciocco in Tuscany on Saturday.

Manager Jim Jefferies said: "He's just overdone it a little bit so he won't be joining us in Italy, there's simply no point.  He'll have a rest, get fit and then be ready to get back to work once we return next weekend."
