Kevin Kyle 1Striker Kevin Kyle may yet make it to the squad that will be heading to Tannadice for Saturday's game against Dundee United.  Kyle, who has scored 10 goals this season, saw a specialist on Thursday and received a cortisone injection to ease the discomfort caused by a groin and will be assessed over the next 24 hours to see how he reacts. Depending on the medical assessment, Jim Jefferies will decide if Kyle, who limped off during the Scottish Cup loss to St Johnstone on Tuesday, should make the trip to Tannadice.

Speaking on Thursday, assistant manager Billy Brown said: "Kevin went to see the specialist today and it appears the problem is a legacy of a previous injury. He was given an injection which will hopefully do the trick. We'll see how he is tomorrow and I'm certainly not ruling him out of being involved on Saturday. He's desperate to play, he loves being involved and we'll give him every chance to make it."
