Kingston to be King?

Laryea Kingston has confirmed his interest in becoming Hearts captain for the new season.

Along with Michael Stewart and Marius Zaliukas, the Ghanaian international has been tipped to lead the Jambo's on the field by gaffer Csaba Laszlo. Kingston has admitted it's ambition to wear the skippers armband as he looks to put his injury hit spell at Tynecastle behind him.

Kingston also hopes that his good performances can lead him to South Africa for the 2010 World Cup.

It's a hard decision for Laszlo to make, but our money is on Michael Stewart. Zaliukas spends too much time in the stands serving red card suspensions while Larry spends too much time on the sick table. Stewart is a Jambo through and through and it would give him no greater pride than to be Hearts captain week in week out.

Although we'd still like Ian Black to get a mention!
