Jose Goncalves to return to Hearts.

Jose Goncalves is to return to Hearts after Nuremberg refused to sign the player on a permanent basis. The defender has been on loan at the Bundesliga outfit who had the right to sign him outright if they gained promotion to the country's top league. However, depsite winning the first leg of their play off against Energie Cottbus, Nuremberg had decided not to sign Goncalves.

The defender can play as a centre half or a full back and despite not winning over Hearts fans, maybe there's a chance Csaba Laslzo can get performances from him that can help Goncalves either establish himself as a Hearts first team regular or a move away from Tynecastle.
