Jefferies wants his new boys on show

Jim Jefferies hopes to field his new pairing of Stephen Elliott with Kevin Kyle as he welcomes St Johnstone for the Jambos first league gamer of the season.. However, Jefferies said: "We're certainly expecting Stephen to be involved on Saturday against St Johnstone and I've not given up hope that big Kevin might be able to get a run out at some stage, too. The boys know each other extremely well from their time at Sunderland where they formed a formidable partnership. It's very exciting for the supporters, and I can tell you it is an exciting prospect for me and the coaching staff too that we've got this quality and experience at our disposal for the season ahead."
