Midfielder Ian Black suffered a bruised foot in last Saturday's 3-1 win at Inverness and is the latest injury concern, with Lee Wallace and Marius Zaliukas (both knee) still posted missing. Stephen Elliott is nearing a return from a hamstring problem, but Dawid Kucharski (calf strain) and Andrew Driver (knee) remain absent.  Ahead of tonight's third round tie, Jim Jefferies said : "If we get through we're a couple of games away from the final again. We've got enough motivation because clubs like this should be in there challenging when it comes round to the business end of it, semi-finals and finals, and that's what we aim to do. It will be an interesting game, but we should be going into it with confidence. Away from home, apart from Celtic, we've scored seven goals in two matches and we're looking forward to it.''

Falkirk's only injury worry for tonight is towering French defender Mehdi Khalis who is suffering from an ankle knock. The Bairns manager and former Hearts player Steven Pressley is telling his players to go out to show people what they can do when the Edinburgh side run out at the Falkirk Stadium. Pressley said: "The players have the opportunity to enhance their own reputation in this game and the reputation of Falkirk Football Club as well. It is a big occasion and one that will remind everyone what we are missing by not currently playing in the SPL. It is a real test for our team but we are at home and if we play to the potential we have then we can win.''
