Hearts farce as Velicka rejoins the circus

Andrius Velicka has returned to Hearts just days after being told he had no future at the club.

The Lithuanian was sent home on the eve of the Edinburgh derby, leaving Hearts with only one fit striker, new signing Ricardas Beniuses.

But, apparantly, his leave of absence was only temporary, and the striker has returned to the club and could feature against Aberdeen on Sunday.

Meanwhile, Craig Gordon has fired a parting shot at Vladimir Romanov after his move to Sunderland.

The big keeper claims he "felt more like a steward than a footballer at times" as he had to contend with a multitude of problems during his time at Tynecastle.
