Hartley staying put

Paul HartleyBristol City have denied reports midfielder Paul Hartley has been transfer-listed and is on his way back the Tynecastle. The 33-year-old Scotland international, who joined Bristol in July 2009 from Celtic, has been linked with a summer move to his former club. However, City chief executive Colin Sexstone has dismissed the rumours.  Hartley has a year left on his contract and is seen as part of the English clubs future plans. Sexstone denies there has been any contact between the Ashton Gate club and the Jambos regarding Hartley.

Sexstone said: "
I'm not sure where these stories come from but people are playing with words and getting it wrong. There has been absolutely no dialogue between Bristol City and Hearts and I can say categorically that Paul is not on the transfer list. He remains an important member of the squad."
