Craig Gordon was this morning unvieled as a Sunderland Player after being unvieled at the Stadium of Light.

The Scotland goalkeeper has signed a 5-year deal with the black cats and moves for an initial £7million.

Gordon bid an emotional farewell to his boyhood heroes yesterday and revealled his dream of one day pulling on the Hearts jersey again.

"I am a Hearts supporter and I have fulfilled a dream by pulling on the jersey" said the big keeper. "Everyone in the terraces dreams of doing that and I have managed to do it, and hopefully one day I can come back here to play".

"I will come back and support the boys whenever I can".

Scotland's No.1 added

"I could not turn down a chance to play in the English Premier League. Sunderland are a massive club with a fanatical support and are going places, and I look forward to being part of the success here".
