Csaba, don't do it!

In what has been the most hotly contested event of the summer, it seems as if the race for the Hearts captaincy has become a two man race. In one corner, there is Michael Stewart, Jambo daft, former Manchester United star, who would give his all for the Tynie cause. In the other corner should be Marius Zaliukas. The reason he's not there is he's serving one of his numerous suspensions!

Larry Kingston is rightly out of contention as he's mostly injured, so it's now between Stewart and Zaliukas. I like the Lithuanian, decent player, however he was sent off FOUR TIMES last season! Is that an example we should be setting to our players? Some clubs would consider punishing such behaviour and not contemplate promoting the guy to skipper!

On the eve of the Europa League draw on Friday we need stability at the club, a model pro who understands the Hearts way on and off the field. It must be Mickey Stewart. Giving Zaliukas the armband is like Hibs making Derek Riordan their Police Liaison Officer. Don't do it, Csaba!
