Csaba: Cinikas Well Down The Pecking Order

Cinikas, 23, has not played since arriving in Edinburgh on loan from FBK Kaunas four weeks ago. Laszlo insists he will not be pressurised into using the player, who favours the right midfield role.

The manager underlined his determination to utilise youth academy products such as David Templeton and Arvydas Novikovas ahead of Cinikas. The teenagers are regarded as the primary back-up to first-choice right winger, Suso.

Cinikas underwent two trial periods with Hearts earlier this year on the recommendation of majority shareholder Vladimir Romanov. He appeared twice during the club's pre-season tour of Germany but failed to secure a permanent contract and returned to Kaunas.

After playing in both legs of the Lithuanian side's Europa League qualifier against Sevojno of Serbia, a six-month loan to Hearts was agreed three days before the August transfer window closed.

To date he has yet to make it into one of Laszlo's matchday squads, a situation which may continue for some time. "Cinikas has big competition," said the Hungarian.

"He plays right midfield. "In that position we have Suso, David Templeton is coming back and Arvydas Novikovas can play in this position. I think I will give more chances to these people, they are further in their development.

"The most important for me is to win, to win, to win. This can give time for the people at the club to develop. At SPL level you need players who are already there and who can score goals. We need players in the forward positions who are skilful. I think if we have a full squad and we have Driver, Obua and Suso on the field we have very good attacking players.

"It is not the number of strikers who give you the possibility of how offensive or defensive you play or whether you win the game. It is the tactics and the people who come from behind. At the moment I try to go in this direction."
