Chervenkov has been waiting in the wings for some time and some believe it is only a matter of time before he becomes the latest in a long line of people to take up the poisoned challice of the Head Coach's position.

It is not clear what his role would be although it is unlikely that both he and Eduard Malofeev would stay on at Hearts full time, although it is likely that Malofeev will continue to "advise" Vladimir Romanov for the forseeable future.
