Better news on injury front

The Jambos' injury crisis could be nearing an end, for now, with Andrew Driver, Scott Robinson and Jamie MacDonald all fit to return to training. The travelling party for last Sunday's game at Tannadice was light by at least 14 players. No wonder JJ was unhappy on the bus home after losing the game. The news on the injury front should lighten his mood especially if Driver makes it back before the mid-April SPL split.  Winger Driver has been struggling all season with tendinitis in his knee and has not featured for more than a month. andrew driverJefferies said: "Andrew has trained but we can't consider him for at least a couple of weeks. We'll have to see how he goes as he has been out for some time but it's obviously a big plus that he is back in training after all his problems. With a bit of luck we might see him before the split, it all depends how he responds."

Further good news for Jefferies came in the shape of Robinson's return to training on Monday, the striker coming through the session without any problems following his knee injury. Goalkeeper MacDonald, who injured his ankle in December, is also back in full training. Jefferies said: "We're getting a few of the guys back, which is good." What would be really good would be getting back on track winning games with the returning players playing their part. Three points on Saturday at Fir Park would be a good time to start another wee run of wins!
