Spurs_Logo_2Left-back Danny Grainger is hoping that the trip to London for the second leg of the Europa League play-off against Spurs allows Hearts to restore some pride. Last Thursday, Spurs scored five without reply to kill the tie. The return game at White Hart Lane may not be 'A battle of Britain'  game but it allows Hearts that they can play a bit. However, Grainger does concede the English side were far superior in the first meeting.

He said: "They are Premiership players for a reason - they've got great skill, great ability and they're pure athletes as well. If you look at our strongest boys against their strongest boys it's men v boys. The first leg was very disappointing. I think we probably did show them too much respect. Once we got a bit closer to them in the second half and actually had a go at them, we showed we were a lot better than what we showed in the first half. Hopefully we can go down there tomorrow night and put that right, hopefully put on a good performance and get a good result for the fans to enjoy."

Following tomorrow night's game, Hearts wil refocus their attention on Sunday's Edinburgh derby with Hibs.Grainger, who moved to Tynecastle from St Johnstone over the summer, added: "I can't wait. It will be my first encounter with Hibs since joining Hearts. It's a game I'm looking forward to. We'll get the Tottenham game out of the way and concentrate on the derby after that."
