Hearts get their man!

Hearts have secured yet another loan deal this close season. Czech striker Roman Bednar signed up for FB Kaunas in Lithuania then headed straight to Tynecastle on a one year loan deal. George Burley snapped up the 22 year year old former Czech under 21 international, who previously played for MladA Boleslav. Bednar was last year voted ‘the find of the season’ in the Czech Republic.

Good signings like this can only benefit a team like Hearts, although I for one wonder what the thinking is behind the ‘sign for Kanuas and go to Hearts for a year’ ideas. That is now 4 players Hearts have on loan from Kaunas, after successfully getting big target man Edgraras Jankauskas signed for the season. Them along with Mikolunas and Chesnauskis, make up the Kaunas quartet. There must be some kind of method in Vladimir Romanov’s madness. Hearts will soon be dubbed the LOAN SHARKS!

If the ‘sharks’ can win us titles and trophies, then so be it!

It’s good to be a Jambo at the moment!!
