Edinburgh Council are reportedly unhappy with Hearts owner Vladimir Romanov after it was revealed that former CEO Chris Robinson is taking a hands-on role in the upgrading of the new stand at Tynecastle.

Planning permission was about to be granted for the proposed 17,000 seated main stand, until it was understood that Robinson, ousted by now owner Vladimir Romanov last season, has been given the part to play in the massive development.

Head of Edinburgh Council, and fellow Jambo, Donald Anderson was said to be disappointed to learn of the appointment, as Robinson only a year or so ago had Tynecastle stadium up for sale and a move to Murrayfield until another site was found for a new ground (but with no money…) Anderson said “I am disappointed that Mr Robinson is taking an active role in the development of the new stand”

Hearts fans, who were delighted when Robinson left the club, now will be very upset to learn he’s back…
