Hearts Host European Clubs Convention

Founder members Hearts, Rangers and Celtic were joined by clubs from Ireland, Wales and Northern Ireland as a host of topics came under discussion.

Among the range of subjects covered were player agents, European club competitions and financial fair play and cost control.

"These types of get-togethers are beneficial for the clubs involved and it's good to sit at the table with everyone. The consensus of feeling amongst the clubs will then go to UEFA or sometimes straight to FIFA so it gives strength to the clubs which is good."
